Nandi's method is rooted in a tactile and experimental approach to materials. By participating in a process that listens to the material, she allows the work to unfold organically, embracing spontaneity and surprise. This philosophy emphasizes the importance of touch and texture, while exploring how surfaces interact and shape each other.
Nandi sees herself as a mediator between the material and the final form of the sculpture.
Her work reflects a world of possibility, optimism and discovery, based on her love for animals, nature and craftsmanship. In addition to the infinity of possibilities when working with ceramics and glass, she is interested in different crafts and techniques, the knowledge she gains per craft enriches her method as an artist. 'I overlap craft techniques, break rules and experiment. This gives me a great freedom in making and feeds my curiosity.'
